Wilder World will participate in Samsung’s exclusive web3 TV bundle sale, offering NFTs to fifteen customers.
The team behind the Wilder World metaverse has entered into a partnership with tech giant Samsung, aiming to bring its multiplayer virtual world to a wider audience via Samsung’s smart TVs.
According to an announcement received by media, the partnership will leverage Samsung's wider distribution network to bring Wilder World to millions of homes.
Wilder World and Samsung team up to integrate the Metaverse
Wilder World will begin integrating into the Samsung ecosystem, starting with the inclusion of Metaverse assets and information on the company’s platform and non-fungible token (NFT) gallery. The partnership focuses on Samsung’s Gen3 initiative, which aims to bring its devices and gadgets into the web3 era.
Through this move, Wilder World’s virtual world content will be accessible and experienced by users on Samsung smart TVs and other devices, bringing the concept and experience of the metaverse to a wider audience.
Wilder World will also participate in Samsung’s exclusive web3 TV bundle sale by offering Wilder World NFTs to fifteen bundle customers. This move will bring Samsung TV users closer to web3 products, communities, and NFTs while expanding the reach of other participating projects such as Polygon Labs, Belvedere Museum, Women’s World, and Ledger.
Metaverse creators will also be offering Wilder World NFTs through 15 customers participating in Samsung’s exclusive web3 TV bundle sale. The program will bring Samsung TV users closer to web3 products, communities, and NFTs, thereby expanding the reach of other participating projects such as Polygon Labs, Belvedere Museum, World of Women, and Ledger.
In this way, users can not only experience high-quality entertainment content on Samsung TV, but also explore and participate in the emerging web3 world and enjoy the rich resources and unique experiences provided by these projects.
While there are many benefits to this collaboration, the primary goal is to ensure Wilder World is easily accessible globally on Samsung TVs and other hardware devices, which is a goal pursued by both parties.
Providing access to regular players
Notably, this collaboration makes Wilder World one of the first AAA web3 games playable by regular gamers, following early integrations with Nvidia’s GeForce Now and SuperVerse. The metaverse creator has also partnered with Polygon and Celestia to build a super-scalable chain capable of processing millions of transactions at once without any fees.
Frank Wilder, co-founder of Wilder World, said:
“We are excited to work with Samsung to make Wilder World more accessible through their Smart TVs. We are creating a next-generation gaming metaverse that emphasizes immersion and authenticity, and Samsung’s global distribution and cutting-edge hardware will enable Wilder World to be best experienced. Our mission is to make Wilder World accessible to everyone, and this alliance is key to achieving that vision.”
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Samsung has partnered with a web3 company to facilitate access to its products. A year ago, the electronics giant had already partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com to provide an optimized version of the app for its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold device. #元宇宙 #WilderWorld
