硬核分享|Crust核心协议栈的设计与实现

"Crust is an incentive layer protocol for decentralized storage, compatible with various storage layer protocols including IPFS, and provides support for application layer. The architecture of Crust also has the ability to support decentralized computing layer, building a distributed cloud ecosystem."

On June 18th, during CrustShow episode 3, we invited Parity engineer kaichao and Crust Network CTO Zikun to have an in-depth technical discussion on the core technology of Crust.

In this episode, Zikun explained in detail the design and technical implementation of the Crust protocol group, seamless upgrade design and consideration, how Crust uses RuntimeInterface to extend the on-chain cryptography library, the use of on-chain scheduler, and the design and implementation of on-chain identity binding.

Due to the length of the content, we have divided it into two parts. This article mainly introduces the design and technical implementation of the Crust protocol group.

The design of the Crust protocol group is aimed at solving two key issues of the Decentralized Storage (DS) incentive layer: proof and incentives.

Proof refers to how to correctly reflect the off-chain storage state on the chain, while incentives refer to the incentive scheme for storage nodes, i.e.,
