[区块明明]"NYC Files Lawsuit Against FDIC for Unpaid Taxes by Signature Bank"

According to Foresight News, New York City has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the receiver of the crypto-friendly Signature Bank, claiming that the FDIC owes approximately $44 million in unpaid municipal taxes. Following the closure of Signature Bank, the New York City Department of Finance conducted an audit and discovered tax deficiencies related to unreported income allocations, investments, and capital gains from 2015 to 2021. The FDIC rejected the request to pay the back taxes in July last year.
